Essential protection for our four-legged friends
NO MORE HOT PAWZ is dedicated to protecting dogs belonging to individuals experiencing homelessness in and around the Coachella Valley. From heat-resistant gear to nourishing food/treats and upcoming veterinary support, our community-driven programs are designed to keep loyal pets safe, healthy, and by their owners' sides.
Our core programs
Desert asphalt can reach devastating temperatures in moments. We provide direct relief through three primary support pillars aimed at heat safety, vital nutrition, and accessible healthcare.
Paw safety gear
We distribute heavy-duty protective dog booties, portable water bowls, and fitting guides to prevent painful pavement burns and heat exhaustion.
Food and hydration
We supply nutritious dog food, treats, and reliable clean water solutions to ensure companion animals stay hydrated and well-nourished in extreme weather.
We are launching free veterinary visit coupons alongside educational resources to keep pets receiving vital checkups and medical attention.

How to request supplies and support
If you are experiencing homelessness or an outreach worker assisting someone in need, getting support is simple. Send an email directly to nomorehotpawz@gmail.com or info@nomorehotpawz.org with contact details and gear needs (such as booties or bowls), connect with our street distribution teams at community outreach events, or pick up gear at partnering local shelters and pet supply stores.
Direct outreach and distribution
Meeting dog owners where they are is at the heart of our mission. Through community outreach events and direct street distribution across Indio, we deliver vital protective supplies straight into the hands of those who need them most. We also collaborate with local pet supply retailers and animal shelters to ensure pet owners have convenient, trusted pickup locations throughout our region.
Powered 100% by community giving
NO MORE HOT PAWZ is an entirely donation-funded nonprofit organization. While we do not currently engage volunteers, every tax-deductible financial contribution and donated supply directly funds protective gear, food, and upcoming free vet clinic visits. Your generosity immediately shields a vulnerable companion animal from desert asphalt.
