Protecting paws, honoring devotion
Based in the Coachella Valley, California, NO MORE HOT PAWZ is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on protecting the loyal companion animals of individuals experiencing homelessness. From brutal desert summer asphalt to freezing winter nights, we step in to keep vulnerable pets safe, loved, and shielded from harm.
Born from the harsh desert heat
Living in the desert means facing severe weather extremes. In the Coachella Valley communities, scorching summer temperatures make street asphalt dangerously hot, easily causing devastating burns on unprotected dog paws. Seeing companion dogs walking alongside their unhoused guardians without protective gear inspired our founding. While pet parents love their dogs deeply, essential safety items like protective dog booties and portable water bowls are often unaffordable. We exist to close that gap and provide a compassionate place to turn.
Essential gear and direct support
Our front-line outreach delivers critical supplies directly where they are needed most. We distribute heat-resistant dog booties to shield sensitive paws, portable collapsible water bowls to prevent dehydration, and emergency nutritious pet food and treats. In addition to immediate relief gear, we are expanding our programs to provide bootie-training guides and free veterinary care visit coupons so companion dogs remain healthy, comfortable, and active year-round.
100% community-powered care
NO MORE HOT PAWZ runs entirely on community generosity. As a 100% non-profit initiative, every dollar and supply donation directly supplies durable paw wear, fresh water containers, emergency nutrition, and vet clinic vouchers for vulnerable desert dogs. Your tax-deductible contributions ensure that no loyal pet goes unnoticed, unloved, or unprotected against extreme conditions.
"The bond between a person and their dog is priceless. Every dog deserves safe, protected paws no matter their guardian's circumstances."
